  1. Thanks guys. The issue seems to have resolved itself. Possibly in one of the recent bug fixes.
  2. Is there a way to stop Evernote from automatically putting new notes into a Default notebook? I have three notebooks I use about equally and previously, if I opened one of them, and then clicked on Add New Note, it would create the note in whichever notebook I was had open. After the recent changes, I noticed on my phone that every new note was getting placed in one of my notebooks that somehow got designated as my default notebook, causing me to have to take the extra step of moving the note where I wanted it to be. At first I thought it was only happening when creating notes on my Android phone, but this evening it did the same thing when creating a note on my Mac computer. I can see where to change the default notebook, but there's not an option to clear that field out. It forces you to have something in there.
  3. I posted earlier that after using Evernote for years I was suddenly unable to add a new tag. But after posting that, I noticed the tag had been attached to the note. What I didn't realize was that I was looking on my iPad, whereas earlier I had been looking on my desktop. So, the new tag is there on both my Android phone and my iPad and it attaches to the note in question. However, on my desktop version, even though the tag shows in the list of tags I can use, it will not attach to the note. In fact, the particular note I am referring to shows four tags on both the phone and iPad, and none at all on the desktop.(even long established tags that I have used a lot) I normally prefer to use Evernote on my desktop, and only use my phone or my iPad when I need to attach a screenshot or photo from one or the other. 4. Well, lo and behold, after struggling with it for over a week, the tag magically appeared this morning. I have Evernote 10.98.3 on my Mac desktop with Sonoma 14.5. and Evernote 10.98.2 on my iPad Now I'm getting another issue. I'll have a look and see if someone else has brought it up already.
  5. I've been using Evernote for several years, just for personal use - a gardening journal, a fitness journal, logs of various road trips we have taken etc. All of a sudden it won't let me add a new tag. I thought there might be a maximum number of tags, so I deleted some that weren't used much but it still won't let me add a tag. I've started a new fitness challenge and wanted to create a new tag for those posts, but it won't let me. Has the process changed or is there a reason I'm not aware of?
