Note "Comments " please. ?

Idea

My deepest darkest wish has always been for Note comments, Displayed as and with UI similar to Facebook....interactive for anyone sharing the notebook. As with the image depicted! !

Would allow for interaction, but more importantly would allow for expansion of the Notes content, additional thoughts on a clipped web site, additional urls , images etc....serving functionally as nested notes

This sounds really useful.

It is important to have dates and times on the notes as well as the name of the author. It should be possible to subscribe to notification when new comments are made.

I know there are already posts about this but I just cannot believe that this is not a core functionality. This is basically what keeps me moving from Google Drive to Evernote. The ability to comment on shared Documents is absolutely key to collaboration. And please don't tell me that this is not the core of Evernote. Give me a break, what is it then? The ability to be able to write something down which then is saved on a server? I coded stuff like that myself 10 years ago... :)

Would love to hear an update on whether this is in the pipeline or whether I can just delete my Evernote account and stick with Google Drive for good.

Thanks

For me, the core of Evernote is a digital filing cabinet; the storage, organization and retrieval of my data

Just as a point of experience; Evernote staff don't usually comment on future features until they're pretty well into the pipeline (e.g., available in a beta or release). So I wouldn't expect an answer, though it's OK to ask, and you never know. But that's been a pretty rare occurrence since I've been coming around...

On the other hand, there's nothing to stop you and your cohort from adding comments to a shared note, marked by your initials or other identifying name; maybe with highlighting. It's not great, but it might work well enough if converting your notes to Google Drive is onerous.

Rather than "comment like FaceBook" I would rather have more of a "Tracked Changes" feature similar to Office Suite of products. WIth the ability to see everyone's collaborative changes exactly where they want them with the ability to accept or reject them as the note owner.

It would be more constructive to start a new topic as a feature request
This will allow users to vote and indicate priority to Evernote

If you're not already, you should be using the voting control up at the top left of the topic header, rather than inserting a "+1" post (particularly if that's the only content you're posting).

I would love to see this, would be great when sharing notes with others and telling them a little more about the note.

Instead of your +1 posts, please consider indicating your support using the voting buttons at the top left corner of the discussion
