Conditional Tagging?

Is there a way I tag a note and have another tag automatically pinned to the note?

For example, If I tag a note "German Shepherd"

can I set evernote to automatically tag "canine" to the note?

If A then B (of course, not necessarily If B then A).

Thanks

Hi.  There's a lot to tagging - Evernote's help pages start here - Organize with tags - I don't think that the pages have quite caught up yet with the fact that it's now (on some platforms at least) possible to search on the hierarchy of the tag structure - so if you had a parent tag for "Canine" with child tags "German Shepherd" and "Labrador",  you would have the choice of choosing individual breeds,  or searching for tag:Canine and seeing them all.

More here -

The only thing built into EN is hierarchy in tags.
- You can make German Sheppard a child of Canine
I understand EN Windows allows you to use the hierarchy in searches

You could look at third party products to do this assignment; for example  Filterize
My approach would be to try and script the process (Applescript on my Mac)
