Unable to Sync with Desktop Application

Hello Everyone,

I am facing a sync issue with Evernote installed on windows, since yesterday I am not able to sync any note on it.

I am able to sync successfully from my mobile app and I can see the synced notes on Evernote web.

But whatever I am syncing from my mobile or creating a note on web, I cannot get the same synced on windows, not only that, even if I create a note on windows that is not syncing either.

I also uninstalled the application and downloaded the latest version and installed it, but the issue still persists.

Please help me with this issue.

What are your sync settings; I sync automatically every 5 minutes.

Can you trigger a manual sync

There is just one more thing, it is trying to sync a note DS1, which I have deleted from evernote web.

You might want to check if note DS1 is sitting in the Trash; purge it from there so it doesn't sync anymore

Have emptied trash, still the same problem, mobile syncs fine.

I Just revoked access for desktop application and restarted and synced again with the password, still the same problem

Just to inform you, its working fine now.

I uninstalled evernote

Deleted the entire database on wwindows.

Reinstalled evernote.

Allowed it to download all the notes, it did and thee sync status is now 100% complete.

Created the same note again which it was not able to sync earlier and that too was downloaded and synced 100%

Hi,

when I faced the sync issue I faced it only on the pc version, my mobile synced perfectly and the file was on Evernote web.

so what I did was I copied the file as a backup and permanently deleted from server. Then I was able to sync easily and subsequently synced the file across all devices.

so if you have a backup of the file you can also follow the same steps, hope it helps.

It looks like you identified the note causing the sync issue.

Save it outside Evernote; for example export it in HTML format

Delete the note; Clear the trash

I'm not sure what "delete it from the server" means, but hopefully the note will now be purged

What I meant was to make a copy of the note that was last synced which might have created the sync issue.

If it's a file save it on the desktop or if it's a note then you can export to HTML format (as DTLow stated).

once that has been done check on Evernote web (sorry for using the word server), if the note is there delete it and delete from trash and then sync all devices.

Thanks for your help! With creating a backup, deleting all the notes, clearing the trash helped me. But how can i know that it was the last sync problem?
