dsto 0
Almost every time I use the Chrome browser web clipper plugin, I get a browser alert that says something like "clipper could not start on this page. please refresh the page and try again. If that doesn't help, contact customer support". How do I contact customer support? Link to comment

dsto 0
I've tried that link. I fill out the form and get a message saying: Please submit a ticket and provide as much information as possible so we can diagnose the problem. For example: Steps to reproduce Screen recording or screenshots Device & operating system Activity log I don't know where to go from there. There is no link or instructions on how to submit a ticket. Level 5* gazumped 11,664 Posted July 19, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted July 19, 2016 There's a search box at the bottom of the page - click in that to trigger some hidden extra options. Link to comment
dsto 0
when I click on the search box, nothing happens. when I start typing, I get search options, but every search option I clicked on just takes me to a page that just directs me right back the the page I came from that tells me to submit a ticket. nohb 27
@dsto We're aware of this issue. We don't have an ETA for the fix at this time, but stay tuned to the forums and blogs, and continue updating Evernote and your Clipper as new versions are released. Also just FYI you may be encountering the support page loop if you are a Basic user. Link to comment
dsto 0
thank you. I am free user. if it's not possible for free users to submit a ticket, I think it would be helpful if the support page made this more clear, since it did tell me to submit a ticket. Link to comment

Level 5* gazumped 11,664 Posted November 17, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted November 17, 2016 Hmmn. That was July, and (I imagine) that fault was fixed by a subsequent release... however it appears that a subsequent update re-broke it... Support working on a fix - no timescale yet. Link to comment
beyonder 0
just in case it helps anyone. If you refresh the page and click on the web clipper when it starts to load it works again. Maybe some webpages are loading 3rd party stuff that prevent the web-clipper from working? Link to comment
martyname 0
Thanks. Yes, refreshing does allow the clipper to work. But what a pain. (Evernote, I hope you're listening.) Link to comment
beyonder 0
I just tried to change options on the clipper to: "always start in:folder" and "always start in: mode" and it seems to work for now Link to comment
