Rockydocky 1 Posted July 1, 2016 In EN I have 3000 plain text notes organized in 20 notebooks and I want to migrate to Simplenote. How can I perform the migration including tagging in Simplenote ? (1 tag in Simplenote = 1 notebook in EN)? *) Reason: [ Changes to Evernote's Pricing Plans 06/28/2016 ] Share this post Link to post

dbvirago 214 Posted July 19, 2016 I can't believe EN can't provide better support for other people's products. 4 Share this post Link to post
tallonius 0 Posted October 21, 2016 If you just want to use very simple ASCII text notes - i.e. without the web clipping and other features of Evernote - you can convert to SimpleNote using this process: - export from Evernote using the HTML (multiple pages) function to a new directory on your drive - download and use htmlastext (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/htmlastext.html) to convert the HTML files to text files - download and use ResophNotes ( http://www.resoph.com/ResophNotes/Welcome.html ) to import the text notes, and then sync with SimpleNotes Be aware that all you'll get is just simple ASCII text - no formatting or features.
