how to get full tag list to show

i'm sorry if this isn't the place for this post. i can't find a way to email evernote directly or ask their support team a question. using a mac. and i'm brand new to evernote. i create a new note, click the tag area...but i have to start typing to get one of my tags to appear. how do i get the entire list of tags to display and then i could simply check off or select the tags i want to put on that note?

I show the taglist in my sidebar and can drag tags from there to the note
