ANSWERED Copying Text Without Formatting.

Recommended Posts

Hi, is there a way to copy from either the web or word without pulling across the formatting.

Spend a lot of my time copying into notepad then into Evernote. Must be a quicker way.

In addition to the above mentioned techniques, you can use a third party clipboard manager to paste as plain text, and a variety of other options.

+ 1. These would be my recommendations as well. I find I use Paste and Match Style the most, especially when creating new notes.

You can also always undo both of these options by using Command + Z on your keyboard if they do not paste the text to your liking. Cheers!

Yes, this is available on the desktop.

It's needed on the phone ... how about "Paste Special" as a choice. ("Paste Special" is how Excel has always offered it ... an example of a long standing example.)
