Option to hide done checkboxes

Idea

Personally I think checkboxes are pretty useful but they can be a hindrance when they hang around after being checked.

My suggestion is to have checkboxes disappear, struck-through, or change to a lighter font when completed. This could be configurable in settings.

Reminder options (in my current beta) include:  Sort by date / Show upcoming / Show completed - all can be toggled on/off.

I think the OP was talking about checkboxes within a note, rather than reminders in the note list.

You could be right - sorry.  My point still valid though - it's possible to have one item = one note and use the reminder system in that way by hiding completed items.  Don't think (strictly MHO) that Evernote have any interest in adding more individual task management tools,  although a lot of clicks on this topic's top left counter might persuade them to look again.

Hello, sorry it's a while since I've logged back in here.

@Michael Goulding is correct, I was referring to checkboxes within a note. I already use the Beta and use some options that @gazumped has suggested.
