Feature request - an easy way to delete a note when you created one by accident

There has got to be a way to exit out of a creation of a note if I change my mind about creating a note or decide that I want another note format.  You have to go through multiple steps to create the note and then delete it after it has been created.  A "cancel" option would be more elegant.
