The number of page for the PDF files

I've been using evernote for quite a while and all the features are perfect so far.
I like to use it for taking notes on the professor's slides(which is in the form of PDF) while in class. However, the Evernote app for Mac doesn't show the number of the page (both which you're currently working on and the total page number). I figured it'll be nice to have it so that you know the whole idea of the file you're working on, I hope this feature can be added to the following version

Are you sure Evernote is the best tool for this (taking notes on a pdf file)
I know there's an annotation feature, but it is very basic.

I'd prefer to use a dedicated app; I use Notablility (Mac/IOS)
