I was disappointed (again) that the latest release (6.6 for Mac) does not include a simple way to create a real note without bringing up the main UI. Yes, I can click the elephant head in the menu bar and get a two-inch square canvas. That's not a "real" note IMHO. Yes, I can press Ctrl-Option-Cmd-N to bring up a blank "real" note – plus the main UI.
My hope is that 6.7 will include a configurable option that will let people like me press Ctrl-Option-Cmd-N and not get the main UI, only the blank note.
