Evernote on Android

Recommended Posts

I created a specific Evernote account on my PC, but when I tried to open it on my Android tablet I was told I have to use an app. I downloaded the app, but even though I used the same sign in as on my PC I could not access my data.   How do I get Evernote to work on my PC and android?  I am obviously not very technically able.

Hi.  If you install the app on your Android and use the same user details that you used on the PC,  you should see the same notes.  On an Android it can take a little while for the notes to appear as the list is downloaded from the network,  but they should be there.  I'd suggest uninstalling the app you currently have,  and reinstalling a new copy - and then enter your login details carefully.  Not sure why or how,  but some users seem to create another new account while trying to log in to an existing one.

There's actually 3 platforms; your PC, <> The Cloud <> your Android device

I recommend signing on the web platform (www.evernote.com) and making sure your notes have been uploaded.

After that, as per @gazumped, be sure you're using the same account details.

It shouldn't take much time; make sure you have Internet service.

Finally, reinstall if necessary.
