Change color of notebooks

Hard to differentiate all the different notebooks on the mac desktop app because they are all grey. There are really only a few notebooks that i use on a daily basis, and i like to group them quite a bit. Would be nice to have that immediate visual indicator when needing to find specific notebooks (eg - blue for business, etc)

This would be great in general, not just for notebooks.  If notes, shortcuts, etc could have an (optional) color assigned, it could make organizing them very easy.  I have fairly few entries in my shortcuts/sidebar but still often have a hard time finding the one I want; I've often wished I could give some of them a color.

Until this gets changed you can always insert emoji into to the name. for example notebook1,  notebook2
It works for tags too.

Good point - I can only speak for IOS and Mac

I think it's a great idea. I've been color coding certain folders on my Mac. When I open Finder, I can quickly go to the desired folder. It's not about just the few extra seconds I save, but it make my workflow better. I wish Evernote would also adopt this same idea and give you the option to color code.

This would be great.  I've been using this feature in Evernote for windows for some time now and it's extremely helpful for quickly differentiating between different notebooks (and tags!).  It would be great to have this option on my Mac, too.

Can you explain how you change the notebook colors in Evernote for windows?
