Evernote is very good at syncing my accidental deletes. My last resort is my html export which I update periodically. I usually can locate lost notes there. Do you have any backups? It's a tiresome process, but you could retrieve a note from there Link to comment
Level 5* CalS 5,280 Posted January 6, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted January 6, 2016 Could you have accidentally changed the title, merged it with other notes, changed the notebook? If the note isn't encrypted search all notes for text in the note. Also, go to list view and do a reverse sort on the updated time column to see the most recently changed notes. Link to comment

It brought up the empty note titled Password which suggests the content is in the note somewhere but it's not showing....Very much appreciate both of you responding so quickly thanks. Link to comment

The actual 'note' is still there - but all of the content has disappeared and I certainly didn't delete it. A great forum. I've really appreciated efforts to find a fix thank you. Have a great 2016.
