Reiner Knudsen 1 Posted December 30, 2015 When I paste a note link into another note it will use the linked notes title as link text. Evernote should update this text when I change the title of the linked note. Share this post Link to post
Candid 166 Posted December 30, 2015 This would be a nice feature, plus it would be nice if the when the original note was moved to another location the link would update to that as well. However, I recognize that in almost all systems I can think about (internet links, file locations in big programs like MS Word) these sorts of connections are static not active. I assume this means that this sort of active link is pretty difficult to maintain. Share this post Link to post
JMichaelTX 3,972 Posted December 30, 2015 While it would be nice, I so rarely need to do this that I would have to put a very low priority on this feature request. Share this post Link to post
DTLow 3,896 Posted December 30, 2015 I'm not sure if this would work for me. Sometimes after pasting a link, I actually update the text. Share this post Link to post

Actually, that works now. The link will still take you to the note in which you edited text. It works for changing both text in the body and the title. The link does not update in the note into which it is pasted, but it still takes you to the first note. Share this post Link to post
