SEARCH Question

The Evernote search grammar supports either:

a global intersection (AND) of conditions
or
a global union (OR) of conditions via "any:".

There's no way to mix AND and OR operations for arbitrary boolean logic to show notes using the method you described.

There are workarounds that are a bit clunky - try searching this forum for Boolean.

Yeah, the clunk on this one is to do an ANY search for Bill, Sam and John, bulk tag those notes with TEMP, and then do an AND search for Mike and TEMP, and when you are done delete TEMP if you like.
