Single click on window no longer captures full windows

Previously, clicking on a window would capture the full content of the window. I use this all the time.

 

Suddenly, I'm seeing doing the same thing ... starting a crosshair snapshot and clicking inside a window, grabs a tiny window showing just the cursor.

 

Skitch  2.7.8 (264008) on OS X 10.10.5.

 

I'll see if a reboot clears it up.  Sigh. It's like going back in time to Windows.

False alarm. A reboot fixed the problem.  Simply quitting Skitch (even including the "skitch helper", whatever that is) did not do the trick.
