Evernote v6.2 update has resulted in all notes disappearing

I updated yesterday and when I logged in today I have nothing in my Evernote....no notes, no notebooks....nothing, zip, diddly squat.

 

I have logged out and back in several times. I have forced a sync. Still nothing.

 

All notes are still visible on the web version, on my iPhone and on my iPad. 

 

Running El Capitan on a macbook.

 

Any ideas?

Hi.  At least your notes are safe on the server,  even if you can't see them on the desktop.  There were some reports of issues like this before recent updates,  the cure being to log out and back in and/ or to restart the Mac.  Evernote have also commented that they do some reindexing on the database after this update,  so the app might load and then take a while to show your notes.  If a restart doesn't help,  try uninstalling and reinstalling the app - I'd also suggest you raise a support ticket - click Troubleshooting in the Help Center (link below in my sig) and scroll to the bottom of the page to see the 'Contact Support' button.

Thanks. I deleted and then reinstalled and all seems to be ok...hopefully
