This problem always occurs with specific websites (nytimes.com, food52.com) for me, and randomly on other websites.  It does not work any better if I use Safari instead of Chrome.  Very annoying- it means I have to verify the content every time I use the web clipper.

It always removes nearly all of the numbers indicating quantity from the recipe list, and some of the numbers (like the number of calories) from the Nutritional Info section (from nytimes.com).  It also seems to skip over ingredient names that are short, like "salt" and "eggs" or "egg".

Version 46.0.2490.80 (64-bit)

Chrome Evernote Web Clipper 6.7

MacOS 10.10.5

If I clip this article:  http://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1017753-spinach-spaetzle-with-bacon-and-sage, it turns this:

  • 5 ounces baby spinach leaves or equivalent quantity of larger leaves
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 egg yolks
  •  Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 ounces bacon or pancetta, cut crosswise into thin lardons
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 12 fresh sage leaves
  •  Grated Parmesan

into this:

    • ounces baby spinach leaves or equivalent quantity of larger leaves
    • yolks
    • teaspoon grated nutmeg
    • teaspoon black pepper
    • cups all-purpose flour
    • ounces bacon or pancetta, cut crosswise into thin lardons
    • tablespoons butter
    • fresh sage leaves
    • Grated Parmesan
