MS Outlook Add-In: After viewing Outbox, messages won't send

After updating Evernote recently, I've noticed that it triggers the problem described here:

Certain MS Outlook COM Add-Ins will cause the "mark messages in Outbox as read, won't send" issue described above.

 

Environment:

• Windows 8 (MS Surface Pro 3)
• Outlook 2007
• Evernote 5.9.0.8665

I updated EverNote this morning and began having this same problem. As soon as I disabled the EverNote Add-ins in Outlook, my messages in the Outlook Outbox began behaving normally again. Looks like an EverNote bug.
