Not sure it's a standard, but often times the recommendation for something like this is to backup your data base (just in case), use revo uninstaller to remove EN, and then reinstall EN. You can find the location of your data base with Tools - Options - General in the box labeled Evernote local files. Go there and make a copy to the location of your choice.
