Sync never stops

Running Win7 and my sync button has begun a perpetual sync operation. Which is OK, except it slows operations and sometimes puts software into (not responding) mode.  

 

Any fixes, comrades?

This behavior is not normal, nor is it acceptable.

 

As a possible fix, you might start with a simple app reinstall:

 

For this type of problem, often a simple reinstall of the app usually will fix the problem.

This should not affect any of your Notes or other data.

But if you have any Local Notebooks, you might want to export them to ENEX files just to be safe.

Had you made any mass changes prior to this starting?  Sometimes mass note moves or tag changes get things clogged, happened to me the other day.  The sync would error out and restart some notes were updated in the process.  I set my sync interval to 5 minutes and things were back to normal in a few hours.  PITA, but it did right itself.  Take a look at your activity log to see if the sync does error out and start again.  FWIW.

Did the app re-install and the goat keeps syncing like a *****. Time to get to tech support, I guess.
