Old Table Formatting and New

Recommended Posts

I've created many tables in Evernote and since Evernote has changed table formatting from time to time i.e.. cell spacing so they all look different now. Is there a way I can reformat an old table formatting to a new one so they will have the same format?

Probably not just using the Evernote app.

You might be able to cut/copy the table in Evernote and paste into MS Word, then do the reformatting there.

If you have enough tables to fix, it might be worth creating a Word macro to do the job.

What versions of OS and Evernote are you running?

You can use this editor, http://enml-editor.ping13.net/. to modify the HTML of the note.  I don't know HTML at all but was able to get the spacing and line width that I like.  Words like spacing and padding tend to be clues.  ;)

I did this in particular for a template note that I use frequently.  I wanted to adjust the spacing and fix the width of the table.  I saved the note to the desktop and now when I double click the exex file I get a blank template note my Inbox to use.  FWIW.
