(Archived) Request for Voice Note

I would like the screen to turn it self off when I'm in a voice note recording and hold the phone up to my ear. (Like when you're in a phonecall) I often hold the phone to my ear when I do voice notes because I think that the quality gets better but I'm always nervous that I will accidentally stop the recording.

Which also brings me to a second request: Is it possible to have a checkbox in the settings for higher quality voice notes? Right now I think that they're really mediocre.
