Learning new vocabulary with Evernote

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Noobish question here: I have never used any digital tool to learn a new language, and since I carry Evernote everywhere, anyhow, I wondered if there wasn't a way to use it for my purposes.

Now, since I have literally no concept of what I can do with Evernote in this regard, I simply wanted to ask what you guys recommend.

I am mainly looking to create a few tables to beef up my vocabulary of Business Finnish :D, but I am really open to everything else that can be done with this marvellous little program!

Thanks in advance for all answers, and thanks Evernote Corporation for effectively making my life better! :)

Yours,

Rafe

A lot of cool things can be done in a table. To learn how to work with a table in Evernote begin here: https://evernote.com/contact/support/kb/#!/article/89799088

I have seen some interesting uses for Evernote tables. They are exactly what you want, but what the users did may inspire you to create something of your own.

A table that puts check boxes in it so you can mark off what you have done: http://www.sharingkindergarten.com/2013/06/i-have-finally-found-it.html

Here's a template for Cornell Notetaking made in Evernote: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s506/sh/1ed7c413-fd67-4938-90b9-504a573d312f/b6aba4c4c0bc2818

Since when I think about foreign language learning, I think about flash cards you may want to take a look at this blog post by a regular here:

There are some side apps that work with Evernote to enable learning:
