Logic of Stack Export?

Is there any way to control in what order the notes are arranged when exporting a stack to an html file? My goal is to export the notes in the way they are presented, so I'd like:

• Note 1 (notebook 1)
• Note 2 (notebook 1)
• Note 3 (notebook 1)
• Note 1 (notebook 2)
• Note 2 (notebook 2)
• Note 3 (notebook 2)

But instead it does this:

• Note 1 (notebook 1)
• Note 1 (notebook 2)
• Note 2 (notebook 1)
• Note 2 (notebook 2)
• Note 3 (notebook 1)
• Note 3 (notebook 2)

Multiply that by a lot of notebooks and notes, and it gets infuriating very quickly. I've tried looking at the stack view and changing the sort options before export, but no luck. Any thoughts? I'm using v.5.8.8.7837.

Not 100% sure, but it looks like all exports are in created date sequence.  To get the sequence you want you might have to export a notebook at a time.  And combine later.
