(Archived) "merge notes" feature bug with PDFs

im having trouble merging notes where there are PDFs. what happens is that a new merged note is created but in the new note the part where the PDF should be shows the following icon that looks like the missing plugin symbol:

any solutions? this has been happening for a while now.

Do you have 2 notes that cause this problem that you'd be willing to share with us so we can reproduce the problem here?

it turns out this was a wider Merge issue than i had suspected in that it also affects image merging.

here's a screenshot of the result of three images that i had tried to merge.

i will try to get you some sample notes from my side.

i can confirm that this problem went away as soon as i restarted evernote but this is not the first time its happened and so it seems to be a recurring issue.
