Password protect individual photos?

Is it possible to password protect individual photos or to encrypt them when encrypting text.. (when i use "encrypt" it does not do my photos)

This is not currently possible.

A workaround would be to put the photo or photos in an encrypted container such as an encrypted disk image, then attach them to a note. Keeping in mind that this will negate access to the image on mobile devices.

...you could also add the image to a PDF file and then password-protect the PDF.  Still not 'instant' on a mobile device - the file would have to be downloaded (unless saved in an offline searchable notebook) and the password given.
