Camera scan/detect bug causes complete app shutdown.

The scan feature for business cards etc. when it detects scans of pictures just before taking picture is broken. Causes phone to completely shutdown and crash.

Have iPhone 6 plus latest iOS update.

I have this same problem. iPhone 4s, iOs 8.3

At some lucky moments it works right, but most of the time the app shuts down.

I have exactly the same issue. Written to Evernote now as thebdocumentncamera on both my ipad and iphone 4s are vertually useless when trying to capture notes from my evernote moleskine notebook. Previous versions some time back were so much better.

The app also crashes frequently when trying to take document pictures

I am so messed up by this issue that i may have to move to a different note capturing method / app.

I like Evernote but desperately want them to do somethingnabout these defects.

I can recommend the app Scannable. Also made by Evernote and works perfect.
