With the now deprecated iPhotos app, I could drag an image straight to Skitch and back, but with the new Yosemite 10.10.3 Photos App, the drag/drop with Skitch seems to no longer work.  

 

The only workaround appears to be: drag from Photos to the desktop, then from the desktop into Skitch.

 

Is there a better way?
