Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any formating that can be done with the speech to text feature. I know about the simple punctuation however is there a way to add checkboxes when making a list or bullets.

Any formating or tricks regarding this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Hi.  AFAIK Evernote speech to text isn't meant to replace a full voice dictation system - I use it for getting thoughts down in writing / drafting letters etc..  IMHO you'd be better off just writing "bullet list" and following that up with the items you need to list,  so you can tidy it up later when finalising the content.

Thank you for your input. Is there any way to insert a line break?

Hi. Is the "speech to text" engine from Evernote notes the same from the Android device?

I mean, if Evernote engine is better I could create a speech-text note, otherwise it would be better to create a text note and then activate from the note the Android engine.

I don't think you can convert a recording from speech to text if that's what you mean - and desktops don't have a speech to text option.
