Lost notes

Since upgrading on my PC (Windows 7) most of my notes have disappeared and synchronizing doesn't retrieve them from my laptop.

Any suggestions?

I've found the notes - all in my personal folder. Now to resort them.

Still don't know why, or why synchronizing didn't import from the relevant folders on my laptop.

Hi.  Updating doesn't typically move or lose your notes - if you don't do so already, you might want to start keeping regular updates backups of the notes stored on your desktop in case something goes wrong again.  On a Windows machine they're stored here - C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Evernote\Evernote\Databases - all the notes and related information are part of the one EXB file.

 

You might also want to check your notes after logging in here via a desktop browser - https://www.evernote.com/Login.action?targetUrl=%2FHome.action

 

That shows the server copy of your notes,  and might explain why changes weren't made to your note layout after a sync.
