mlu 25 Posted April 6, 2015 Share Posted April 6, 2015 Previously when activating a saved search, the search parameters were not shown in the search box, and an additional search was made within the notes complying with the criteria of the saved search. When the additional search was blanked out, the saved search would still be active. However, now this seems to have changed. When you select a saved search and enter a new search string, this new search string clears the saved search and searches in all notes. Have tried to see if this is something that can be configured, but afaics no. Can anyone confirm this change? I have recently changed from W7 to W8.1, so can it have something to do with this, or has it been introduced in a recent update? Link to comment
Level 5* CalS 5,280 Posted April 6, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted April 6, 2015 Go to the magnifying glass next to the search bar and be sure you have Search current context checked. If not, every time you do a search it will be on all notes and "start over" so to speak. This sounds like what is happening to you. Link to comment
