Idea

Hi everyone!

Happy Thursday! Here's what was in last night's release. Keep the bug reports coming!

New Features
  • Reorder Reminders - Reorder reminders any way you want via drag and drop. To enable this functionality, make sure to uncheck "Sort reminders by date" in the Reminders settings UI.
  • Recent Notebooks - If you have more than 15 notes, there will now be a section at the top of the notebooks list that lets you access your most recently used notebooks.
Bug Fixes
  • Special format printing - Tables and bullet points should now print properly

Thanks Nancy,

  • Reordering Reminders works nicely. Just a couple of things:
    • Whereas the Windows Desktop Client jumps/ re-positions/ shifts to the top of the Reminders list whenever an item is dragged and dropped, the Web Beta jumps to the bottom of the Reminders list, and one has to scroll back to the notebook that was previously in focus.
    • It would also be great to be able to drag and drop between notebook sections within the Reminders list as one can on the Windows client (not possible either on Mac).
  • Don't know if I'm late to the party... but it's great to see that note history (View History) is now accessible on the Web beta (besides the current release). Previously, many who had not installed a desktop client would need to do so in order to recover lost note contents. That was a must.
  • "Recent Notebooks" is fantastic. Nice that this feature is being standardized across clients. I am growing accustomed to it on Windows and iOS.

Thank you for bubbling up this issue. We see the bug happening now on our end but noticed that it doesn't happen all the time. If you have a consistent way to reproduce the jumping issue please let us know so we can make sure we fix it in all cases (ie. Browser versions etc).

Hi Nancy, it's always jumped for me on Windows desktop... and now on Web Beta... every time. Particularly on Windows desktop I've seen a number of people in the forum mention this jumping issue when dragging and dropping tasks to a new notebook section or reordering within a notebook. To reproduce the jumping consistently, as you asked, all it takes is a reminder list that scrolls off the page and any type of reordering within the list. Thanks!
