(Archived) Storing notes locally with WebOS 1.3.5?

It struck me that Palm with WebOS 1.3.5.X is now allowing applications to store their executables and data in the USB partition, which effectively provides significantly more storage space than in the past. Has Palm increased the amount of storage space an app can allocate, and if so are there plans to cache notes locally?
