I had the same reaction, sadly. Why not let the actual free user keep their free account (kind of when Google apps removed their free tier).

If you need Free only, I doubt that postach.io will return to this offering.  But they mentionned they will provide a new offering for people who can't afford, or need, what is part of their $90/year offering.

I have been using postach.io as a personal blog for a few years now, but its just a small thing, not worth paying for and I only post a handful of times per year.  I guess Ill have to find something else.  Im going to give blogwith.co a try.

Thanks a lot. I'm trying cilantro now and it looks promising. Sorry for the boys at pistach.io. I liked it, but 90 bucks a year is a bit steep for the service and especially the way I use it.

I wrote to the postach.io team (they sent an email about the "trial" expiring), talking about the price, the not so new features (since the first verison of postach.io) and the public communication that's not very ... communicative. here's the response:

 

 

Sorry for the poor communication! We're working hard to improve the software, and we plan to roll out a number of new features now that we've launched the new version. We had to rebuild the software so the syncing would be stable, and now we can do some new features.

We're also discussing some new pricing options, so you might see an update in future.

I've been trying blogwith for a bit and am having lots of problems - the entries do not consistently post. At first I moved all of the postach.io notes into the blogwith notebook, and batch added the appropriate tags. Nothing posted. I went back and deleted/re-added the tags to some posts, but while a few appear, most still do not.

It appears the alternative sites listed do not work anymore:

• http://cilantro.io - server not found
• http://www.blogwith.co - error message on loading

​I see the $5/$50 option for pricing and link to drop back to free for 1 blog to try things out.
