The checkbox styling in task lists clashes with the rest of the UI and frankly looks ugly. Why is the Web Beta using old MacOSX checkbox icons instead of its own, even on Chrome on Windows?

We agree!  This is something we would like to fix sometime in a future release. Apologies for the temporary ugliness while we clean up house.

I'm surprised that changing the look of the check boxes has taken eight months. If you guys need some good coders, I'm happy to recommend some people. That's a long time to make that change. Maybe the clean house needs to happen with some team members.

I'm a huge person on esthetics. It's a deal braker. I wanted to move back to Evernote, but those check boxes are so ugly, and awkward to use! It's such a shame. I can tell you guys have put a lot of thought into the program, take a look at what there doing in OneNote; they're actually making lists a dynamic tool.
