Keyboard Maestro Macro to Copy Evernote Note Text Selection

Keyboard Maestro Macro to Copy Evernote Note Text Selection

For those of you who might like to automate EN Mac, you might find this helpful:

KM Macro to Copy Evernote Note Text Selection

The macro may be downloaded from the above link.

Due to a change/bug in Evernote starting with Ver 6.0.3, KM is unable to copy selected text in an EN Note to the clipboard.

Using an approach developed by another KM user, Donnel Lu, I have created a reusable, callable, KM macro to copy selected text into a KM variable, which then can be used in many ways, including putting on the standard clipboard as well as named clipboards.  Once on a clipboard, you can process it in many ways, including applying formatting styles.

Please let me know if you find any bugs/issues/limitations/improvements.

Evernote seems to have fixed this bug as of EN Mac 6.0.11.

As of that version, KM will properly copy/read text selected in Evernote.

So the above KM macro is no longer needed.
