Saving Evernote data to other programs

How can I easily save all my notes from one folder in another program such as

WordPerfect or Word?  I know, I know, Evernote will be here forever and ever, but

I will feel a lot more comfortable knowing I have all my journal notes backed up

other places.

For a full Windows Evernote backup:

"If you choose to backup the Evernote data directly, the data that must be backed up lives in the C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Evernote\Evernote\Databases directory, so you'll want to make sure it's included in your backups. Most "set it and forget it" backup applications will back up your home directory by default, but confirming that the Evernote data directory is included would be a prudent move."

SOUNDS GOOD....BUT NO - IT'S NOT THERE I JUST LOOKED. - I'M IN WINDOWS 7 AND IN C: AFTER USER/MYNAME THERE IS NO "APPDATA"

I think that it's a hidden folder, but you should have permissions to access it. One easy way to get there is in Evernote, Tools / Options / General / Open Database Folder... which opens up a WIndows Explorer window at that location.
