Level 5 Martin Packer 162 Posted February 6, 2015 Level 5 Share Posted February 6, 2015 This might be a "stretch" objective but I tried to scan a page or several yesterday that had been folded and so were no longer flattenable. I wonder if it's possible for Scannable to learn how to do a better job - it not being a quadrilateral anymore but more like six-sided. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,664 Posted February 6, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted February 6, 2015 I built a copying table ages ago - basically a sheet of flat board with a similar size sheet of thin non-reflective glass duct-taped to one long side. Perhaps Evernote could apply their superlative design ethos to that concept and come up with a document flattener to de-quadrilateralise previously folded documents? (A "dequadrilateraliser" ?) Sorry; it's Friday... Link to comment

klang 38
Scannable do some complex (but currently subtle) de-warping to 'flatten' pages (beyond just correcting perspective) and we're always working to turn those folded and crumpled pieces of paper into something nicer. I'd love to see photos of any particularly tricky pieces of paper? Link to comment
