Web Clipper working fine, Skitch working fine, however, when I copy&paste a clipping to an existing note, it disappears from the note after 5 seconds.

Ok, so I recently upgraded to Evernote Premium, downloaded the Chrome Web Clipper plugin, as well as Skitch.  

I am conducting some research and wanted to embed a clipping from a Google search. I did so, edited it with Skitch, and saved the clipping to Evernote. No big deal...

 

After a quick sync, the new note with the clipping appeared in my notes, and I copied&pasted the clipping to an existing note that I had been working in.  

It pasted without any issues, BUT! shortly after, (within 5 seconds), it literally DISAPPEARS!

 

Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions/solutions/answers?
