Doxie Go wifi setup with Evernote?

Hi,

 

any help would be appreciated. I have a new Doxie go wifi and would like to know if it can be setup to scan straight to Evernote without using the doxie app?

 

I can scans to the app on the computer and then open send to Evernote (does not seem to work on iOS app) but getting each scan to upload to my default folder in Evernote would be really useful.

I had contacted Doxie about this very subject back in November.  Their response was: 

 

"Unfortunately the scans aren’t sent directly from the scanner to the cloud service – they still go through the companion software first."
