Encrypted text did not require pass phrase to display

I am using Windows 7.  I followed the instruction to encrypt some text successfully. But when I wanted to display the encrypted text, all I needed to do is double click the text and it immediately displayed, without asking for a pass phrase.  This defeated the whole reason for me to encrypt the text.  What did I do wrong?

There's an option to have the text remain decrypted during your current session.  Try signing out of Evernote and back in.  If the text remains decrypted,  it may not have encrypted correctly - try again?
