Notefile - Saving to Evernote, Notes Show up in iOS App, Not the Web

Good morning.  Hopefully the community can help out with this strange issue I'm running into.

I use the app Notefile by Junecloud as a quick note taking app.  When using the Share Sheet to send the note to Evernote the result produces the note in the iOS app (see screenshot below).  It does NOT show up in the web version of Evernote (screenshot below).  The only way for the note to show up on the web is to edit it in the iOS app and then save it again.  It then appears in the web version of Evernote.

The developer over at Junecloud told me that it may be an issue with the Evernote share extension.

Any hints or ideas?  Appreciate any help.  Screenshots below.  Thanks!!

Shot in the dark here, but are you sure JuneCloud actually intergrates with Evernote? Not all apps do. If it does, have you given Evernote permission to accept the others app to access your EN account on all of your clients (devices/platforms), and vise versa with the other app?

I know I could be completely off base here, but as I said, it's a shot in the dark!

  • 2 weeks later...

I've been fighting through an identical issue with TweetBot, and finally, yesterday, the Evernote support team said, "well, it appears this is a bug," and they are submitting it to development.

It's pretty annoying.  I mean, you can totally get it to resolve - just edit the note.  But remembering to do that each time - remembering which notes haven't come across - it changes the workflow.  It could be so much smoother.

Well that's great to hear.  I'm shocked you actually got a reply from support.  Thanks for the update!
