Please help with dictation feature

I'm new to this so I'll start with apologies.I have an iPad three.in order to do some voluntary work I have old photographs of text documentswhich I need to retype.I insert the photo into Evernote and then I read and dictate creating a text document which I can edit. This mainly works well but would be better if I could just hold the picture steady in the viewing window. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi.  If you're reading the document in the photograph,  why not wait until you've transcribed it before inserting it into Evernote?  Or Insert it but hang on to the original so you can transcribe efficiently.
