trian 0 Posted November 4, 2014 Share Posted November 4, 2014 On my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 in the Evernote app the green round edit button and the samsung multi window button occupy almost the same space. I always hit the wrong one! See attached screenshot. In contrast check the screen shot of quill where the multi window button is integrated more unobtrusively. IIRC that app is open source so you should be able to take a look how it's done.For context: I'm on Android 4.1.2. I've heard they changed the multi window behavior but maybe this is still worth taking a look at.PS: It's neat that evernote is multi window capable at all. Really useful! Link to comment
Rob Freundlich 146 Posted November 5, 2014 Share Posted November 5, 2014 On my Galaxy Note 2, the apps themselves don't show a multiwindow button; instead, they're available through a dedicated multiwindow sidebar. Take a look at http://www.samsung.com/us/support/supportOwnersHowToGuidePopup.do?howto_guide_seq=8829&prd_ia_cd=N0000004&map_seq=62396 to see how it works. Is there an option on your tablet to access multiwindow this way instead of through the apps? Link to comment
