One thing I would suggest it looking at is another service that integrates with Evernote. Expensify springs to mind. Evernote isn't going to handle grabbing an amount and putting it in an expense report at all because it is not that kind of app.

 

It can act as the filing cabinet for your expenses. You could tag them so they indicated what they were for "client x" "travel."

 

On the other hand it is possible that you could share a notebook with someone else and take photos of your expenses and put them in that notebook. That person could then tally them up and authorize you being reimbursed. A little depends on the services you have available to you and the level of bureaucracy of your office on things like expense reports.
