I suggest you Submit a BUG report via an EN Support Ticket. Just start the Ticket Title with "BUG: " to make it clear. Link to comment

It sync's fine, but not in the background like it did with iOS 7 and the previous version of EN before they tried to make it work with iOS 8. Then, I could pick up my iPhone or iPad and know all notes were there. Now, I see "not sync'd in 18 hrs" and I have to manually tell it to do a sync. That really sucks if I am on 4G and it is consuming my data vs when it should have done it while I slept at home over the Wifi connection. Link to comment
