WannabeHolmes 9
This seems like it'd be kind of important and I don't see a button. Maybe there's a hotkey? Ctrl + L used to work (I think). Link to comment
Level 5 Stuhrer 252 Posted October 2, 2014 Level 5 Share Posted October 2, 2014 Well, the same happened with the feature in Evernote for iOS version 7. It still is not there! Link to comment
ScottLougheed 1,316
On the desktop the hotkey is cmd-k (ctrl-k), so cmd-L/ctrl-L is unlikely. It is possible that this hasn't been implemented in the beta yet. Link to comment

The only way is to enter text that can be interpreted as link like www.evernote.com. That works in the new web UI as well and I bet that will be the only way. Link to comment

Geoffrey Allan Plauché 3
I hope a button for linking text is on the roadmap. Link to comment
TNBoro 0
Ditto. Not having ability to link is a problem. Link to comment
Haakuturi 0
I'm jumping in on this too. I don't want to have to type stuff out in the web client and then go back to a desktop/mobile app just to create hyperlinks! Link to comment
elleryq 0
In Firefox, Ctrl+k will focus to search bar, Ctrl+L will focus to location bar.I suggest to show a "link" button or to use Alt+k. Link to comment
Olivr70 0
I am pretty surprised that this feature could be me missing : isn't hyperlinking the killer feature of the web ? The problem may be that the will to favour occasional users rather than power users has led to an oversimplification of the new UI, leaving key features on the way Link to comment
Waldo 2
It is possible that this hasn't been implemented in the beta yet. The question is: how is that possible !? Link to comment

I don't think it's going to be implemented. As I mentioned above the same happened with the iOS version quite some time ago. And it is not on the list of future implementations I have seen for the Web UI only note links is. But who knows? It would be a nice surprise. Link to comment
stevgouws 0
Not sure if this is part of a new update (I didn't see it before) but you can create hyperlinks by selecting the text you want to link and then a little format bar appears (with Bold and Font size etc) where there is also a hyperlink icon. I see the "create link" feature as well, great. This must be part of an update and I am waiting for the release notes. It is possible that this hasn't been implemented in the beta yet. I doubt it.
